The LVL5 soft shell trousers are based on the US Army specifications for APCU Generation III (Advanced Protective Combat Uniform).These trousers are designed to be put on over the uniform and protect against wind and light rain.

And to make them easier to put on, they have zip and Velcro openings for both the waist and ankles. They bulge at the knees to accommodate knee pads and allow easy leg movement.
